White suspect asks for forgiveness in attack on Black family’s house

A white male accused of firing photographs into the property of a Black suburban Detroit family members who put a Black Life Subject sign in their window expressed regret and questioned for forgiveness in the course of a pre-trial court listening to Thursday.

“I’m incredibly regretful of what I did. I can say it’s not like me,” reported Michael Frederick Jr., 24, as he appeared by video in Warren District Courtroom for his arraignment. “I acted way out of character. This was not about the color of anyone’s pores and skin.”

Decide Michael Chupa on Thursday ordered Frederick to be assigned a general public defender and advised him not to examine the case at the listening to.
