The Glenwood residential space is obtaining $50,000 in grant revenue for household advancement tasks.
The $50,000 grant was made available by the Erie County Gaming and Revenue Authority (ECGRA) for leisure and house enhancements on Shunpike Road.
It is a team effort and hard work, with the YMCA of Larger Erie, Glenwood neighborhood inhabitants, the Erie Zoo, and the Erie Federal Credit Union all operating together on this challenge.
The president of a community analysis evaluation organization says they are working to unite the neighborhood’s features, like Glenwood Park and Horseshoe Park, J.C. Martin Golf Class, Flo Fabrizio Ice Centre and the YMCA.
Just one Shunpike resident states it is wonderful to be provided in this challenge.
“To build form of a shared id. So it could be like a vacationer desired destination for wellness and family members and recreation, and also outreach into the more substantial Glenwood neighborhood, for the reason that it is this sort of an important anchor for the town,” said Diane Chido, president, DC analytics.
“To be included in some kind of task like that, that is a enormous chance. Realizing that Shunpike’s a traveled street from Peach to 38th, it’s type of a terrific space for persons to start observing the houses enhance a minimal bit here and there,” reported Sean Hodinko, Shunpike Rd. resident.
Shunpike citizens interested in strengthening their residences are invited to post an application to an oversight committee.
