A Gig Harbor home-owner fatally shot an intruder Sunday night, right after the male appeared to break into the improper home, police reported.

The incident began soon following 10 p.m., when the unknown man drove to an handle around the corner of 80th Street Northwest and Rosedale Avenue, stated Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Darren Moss.

The guy drove up into the front yard of the dwelling, broke a window, entered the residence, then started “marching up their stairs.” Questioned whether he was armed, Moss reported the man “had a massive bottle of alcoholic beverages with him.”

“The home owner fired and hit the suspect, who handed absent correct there,” Moss mentioned. “We believe that the deceased’s relatives life just close to the corner somewhere, so he broke into the completely wrong dwelling.”
