PHOENIX — Remarkable new entire body digicam footage reveals the second a Valley woman ran to basic safety just after an armed stranger entered her dwelling.
The incident ended with the suspect dying soon after getting shot by police.
On Feb. 6, the 29-12 months-old homeowner known as police to her residence on 43rd Avenue and Cactus Highway expressing, “Someone is in my yard with a gun. Please hurry.”
She goes on screaming, “Get out of my home! Get out,” just after law enforcement say the armed man, 29-year-old Anthony Greco, entered her house via an unlocked door.
The moment Greco came in, she ran to her bed room for safety.
Days later the lady, who does not want to be identified, instructed 12 News, “I’m just thankful to be alive.” She escaped by means of a window in her towel as the police waited for her outside the house.
Phoenix law enforcement claimed their system cameras did not clearly catch the instant an officer shot Greco.
The police report said Phoenix Police Officer Warren Jackson shot Greco when after Greco went to the backyard and pointed the handgun at him.
Extra officers shot Greco with a stun gun soon after the report states he was however “moving on the ground” and believed to nonetheless have the handgun in his hand.
Officers pronounced him dead accomplishing CPR. Officers explained Greco arrived at the dwelling in a stolen car and had a bottle of alcoholic beverages with him. It does not appear they know why he came to the woman’s property.
Jackson has been on the task for 3 several years. An interior and felony investigation is underway.
